Hi, my name is Ash, and I’m proud to share that I’ve been selected as one of only 10 young people from Queensland to attend the UN Youth National Conference — a prestigious event bringing together Australia’s young leaders to engage in global issues and exploring how we can shape the future.

My journey in youth leadership and advocacy has been shaped by active involvement in my community and a strong passion for creating change. I’ve had the honour of speaking at the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) Youth Summit and representing my peers in the Queensland Youth Parliament. I’ve also taken part in the UN Student Ambassador Program and currently serve on my local Youth Council, where I advocate for youth voices in regional development.

In addition to these roles, I volunteer regularly with Rosie’s – Friends on the Street, St Vincent de Paul, and the Toowoomba Regional Council. I’ve also participated in several leadership and community development programs that have deepened my commitment to service and social impact.
