CI SIAMO AGGIUDICATI ALL'ASTA IL TERRENO DEL RIFUGIO!

Finalmente possiamo dirvelo: è sempre stata nostra intenzione, da molti mesi ormai, partecipare all'asta del terreno dove già opera il rifugio, che l'associazione ha utilizzato fino ad oggi.

Alla fine, col poco tempo a disposizione e valutando altri fattori, era la soluzione migliore per la mandria che ci vive da anni.

Non ne abbiamo però potuto parlare sui social!!! Abbiamo dovuto continuare a dire pubblicamente che stavamo cercando un altro terreno... mantenendo la comunicazione sul generico e quindi rischiando anche di perdere supporto.

Questa "segretezza" però è stata importantissima dal punto di vista strategico!

Sapevamo che c'erano un paio di aziende limitrofe interessate ad acquistarlo... ma abbiamo sperato che se avessero pensato che noi non eravamo interessati a rimanere, avrebbero aspettato le aste successive (che noi invece non potevamo attendere a causa dell'ordinanza di liberazione che sarebbe giunta).

QUINDI IL 30 DICEMBRE LA NOSTRA ASSOCIAZIONE HA PARTECIPATO ALL'ASTA... e c'eravamo solo noi!

Ci siamo aggiudicati il terreno!!!!

ADESSO IL COUNTDOWN RIPARTE PERCHÉ.... MANCANO COMUNQUE I FONDI PER SALDARLO!

Come funziona: abbiamo dovuto versare un acconto del 10% del prezzo, cioè 59.400 euro (il prezzo è 594.000).

Ora abbiamo fino aL 29 APRILE per saldare la rimanenza del costo del terreno.

120 giorni.

NON PROROGABILI.

SE NON SALDEREMO TUTTO, PERDEREMO TERRENO E ACCONTO.

ORA CHE FINALMENTE POSSIAMO PARLARE APERTAMENTE DI QUESTO RISCHIO GIGANTE CHE ABBIAMO SCELTO DI CORRERE, ABBIAMO BISOGNO DI TUTTO IL VOSTRO SOSTEGNO!

For many months now, it has always been our intention to take part in the auction for the land where the sanctuary has been operating since 2021.

Given the very limited time we had and all the other factors involved, this was the best possible solution for the herd that has been living there for years.

Facing an eviction and a difficult relocation would have been too dangerous for the 89 cows of the herd!

But we couldn’t talk about it on social media!

We had to keep saying publicly that we were looking for a different piece of land… keeping vague in our communication and even risking losing support.

This “secrecy,” however, was strategically crucial.

We knew that a couple of neighboring farms and farmstays were interested in buying the land, but we hoped that if they believed we were not planning to stay, they would wait for future auctions (which we could NOT wait for, due to the eviction order that was coming).

SO ON DEC 30TH 2025 OUR NON-PROFIT ORG TOOK PART IN THE AUCTION…

and we were the ONLY bidders!

We won the land!!!!

NOW THE COUNTDOWN STARTS AGAIN BECAUSE…

WE STILL NEED THE FUNDS TO PAY FOR IT.

Here’s how it works:

we had to pay a 10% deposit, which is €59,400 (the total price is €594,000).

Now we have until APRIL 29TH 2026 to pay off the remaining sum.

120 days.

NO EXTENSIONS.

IF WE FAIL TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT, WE WILL LOSE BOTH THE LAND AND THE DEPOSIT.

Now that we can finally speak openly about this HUGE risk we chose to take, we need all of your support.
