Queridos Amigos, Familia y Personas de Buen Corazón,

Hoy nos dirigimos a ustedes no solo como padres y hermana, sino como una familia que está agotada física, emocional y financieramente. Somos Juan, Rebeca y Beverly, y estamos pidiendo ayuda por nuestro amado hijo y hermano, Caleb.

Durante 33 años hemos entregado nuestro corazón, alma y cada recurso disponible para ayudar a Caleb a enfrentar los enormes desafíos del autismo combinado con un trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo severo. Hemos intentado todo: medicinas, terapias, programas especializados y hasta tratamientos que muchos ni siquiera imaginarían, con la esperanza de aliviar su ansiedad y su dolor. Pero a pesar de nuestros incansables esfuerzos, nos encontramos en una encrucijada, sin fuerzas y sin los recursos económicos para seguir brindándole la ayuda que tanto necesita.

Como pastores y creyentes, confiamos en el poder de Dios para sanar y restaurar. Pero también creemos que Dios obra a través de su pueblo, de sus manos y pies en la tierra, para responder oraciones y brindar apoyo en momentos de desesperación. Por eso, acudimos a ustedes con humildad, orando para que Dios toque sus corazones y nos ayuden a luchar por la vida de Caleb.

La condición de Caleb ha empeorado al punto en que su ansiedad severa lo lleva a episodios de autolesión y agresión física. Necesita con urgencia ser ingresado en un centro de tratamiento especializado donde pueda recibir evaluaciones psiquiátricas completas, apoyo psicológico, terapia conductual y talleres que transformen su vida. Esta es su mejor oportunidad para sanar. El programa de tratamiento dura un año y los costos son abrumadores.

Amamos a Caleb con cada fibra de nuestro ser. Nos negamos a rendirnos. Pero no podemos hacerlo solos.

A Desperate Plea to Save Caleb – We Need Your Help

Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted People,

Today, we reach out to you not just as parents and a sister but as a family that is physically, emotionally, and financially exhausted. We are Juan, Rebeca, and Beverly, and we are asking for help for our beloved son and brother, Caleb.

For 33 years, we have poured our hearts, souls, and every available resource into helping Caleb face the enormous challenges of autism combined with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder. We have tried everything—medications, therapies, specialized programs, and even treatments that many could not even imagine—in the hope of alleviating his anxiety and pain. But despite our tireless efforts, we find ourselves at a crossroads, out of strength and without the financial means to continue providing him with the help he so desperately needs.

As pastors and believers, we trust in the power of God to heal and restore. But we also believe that God works through His people, through His hands and feet on earth, to answer prayers and provide support in times of desperation. That is why we humbly turn to you, praying that God will touch your hearts and move you to help us fight for Caleb’s life.

Caleb’s condition has worsened to the point where his severe anxiety leads to episodes of self-harm and physical aggression. He urgently needs to be placed in a specialized treatment center where he can receive comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychological support, behavioral therapy, and life-changing workshops. This is his best chance at healing. The treatment program lasts one year, and the costs are overwhelming.

We love Caleb with every fiber of our being. We refuse to give up. But we cannot do this alone.
