Un riñon para Cesar: Salva su vida con tu donación

Queridos amigos, familiares y personas de buen corazón:

Acudimos a ustedes en un momento sumamente difícil, enfrentando una etapa llena de desafíos y cambios inesperados.

Mi amado esposo Cesar de 35 años fue diagnosticado en Octubre del 2024 con hipoplasia renal, una malformación congénita que se caracteriza por un riñón o riñones más pequeños de lo normal. Esta enfermedad era completamente desconocida para él, pues siempre había sido una persona sana, activa, amante del deporte y muy trabajador. Sin embargo, su salud se ha deteriorado rápidamente pues, en solo tres meses desde su diagnóstico, la enfermedad avanzó a etapa terminal. Para salvar su vida, fue necesario realizar una operación, colocarle un catéter e iniciar sesiones de hemodiálisis tres veces por semana.

Ahora, hemos iniciado el difícil y desafiante camino para reunir los recursos necesarios para su trasplante de riñón, el cual necesita con urgencia, siendo yo la única posible donante, lo que hace que esta batalla sea aún más dura para nuestra familia. No solo enfrentamos la incertidumbre de la operación, sino también el enorme reto de superar juntos la cirugía, y con ella, cada obstáculo en la lucha hacia nuestra recuperación y recobrar la salud de Cesar.

Este camino ha sido emocionalmente agotador para él y nuestra familia, ya que no podemos costear los estudios y gastos próximos de la operación de trasplante, a esto se suma la enorme carga emocional y económica de los tratamientos de hemodiálisis, la preparación para el trasplante y el proceso de recuperación a largo plazo. Nos enfrentamos al difícil reto de mantener nuestro hogar y cuidar de nuestros dos hijos mientras lidiamos con esta crisis económica y de salud, lo cual ha sido abrumador.

César es un hombre increíblemente amable, bromista, alegre y con un corazón enorme. A pesar de la depresión y el impacto que significó enfermar repentinamente, enfrenta con valentía y entereza los estragos de su enfermedad. Su vida ha cambiado drásticamente, ya que no puede trabajar ni realizar sus actividades con normalidad. Sin embargo, su mayor motivación para seguir adelante son nuestros dos hijos, a quienes creemos con todo nuestro corazón que Dios trajo a nuestras vidas siendo Cesar y yo adolescentes porque su padre está destinado a verlos crecer. En este momento, ellos están tratando de asimilar lo que está sucediendo, y nosotros estamos haciendo todo lo posible para brindarles estabilidad y tranquilidad en medio de esta difícil situación.

Estamos convencidos de que este no será el final de nuestra historia, por lo que en las próximas semanas, si su ayuda nos lo permite, iniciaremos los estudios correspondientes (Prueba cruzada pre transplante renal) para saber si soy 100% compatible para ser la donante, un paso crucial en el camino hacia la recuperación de Cesar.

Con humildad, solicitamos el apoyo de nuestros seres queridos: amigos, familia y hasta aquellos que no nos conocen personalmente para superar esta enorme prueba. Sabemos que no estamos solos en esta batalla y que, con la ayuda de Dios y el apoyo de personas de buen corazón como ustedes, lograremos superar este desafío. Cada aporte, cada oración, cada muestra de solidaridad y cada vez que comparten nuestra historia para que otros nos ayuden nos acerca un paso más a la recuperación de César y a la esperanza de un futuro donde pueda seguir compartiendo su vida con nuestra familia.

We reach out to you in an extremely difficult time, facing a stage filled with challenges and unexpected changes.

My beloved husband Cesar, 35 years old, was diagnosed in October 2024 with renal hypoplasia, a congenital malformation characterized by one or both kidneys being smaller than normal. This condition was completely unknown to him, as he had always been a healthy, active person, a sports enthusiast, and very hardworking. However, his health has deteriorated rapidly, as in just three months from his diagnosis, the disease progressed to a terminal stage. To save his life, it was necessary to perform surgery, place a catheter, and start hemodialysis sessions three times a week.

Now, we have begun the difficult and challenging journey to gather the necessary resources for his kidney transplant, which he urgently needs, with me being the only possible donor, making this battle even harder for our family. We are not only facing the uncertainty of the operation but also the enormous challenge of overcoming the surgery together, and with it, each obstacle in the fight towards our recovery and Cesar's restored health.

This journey has been emotionally exhausting for him and our family, as we cannot afford the upcoming studies and expenses of the transplant operation. Added to this is the enormous emotional and financial burden of hemodialysis treatments, preparation for the transplant, and the long-term recovery process. We face the difficult challenge of maintaining our home and taking care of our two children while dealing with this economic and health crisis, which has been overwhelming.

César is an incredibly kind, humorous, cheerful man with a huge heart. Despite the depression and impact that sudden illness has brought, he faces the ravages of his disease with bravery and integrity. His life has changed drastically, as he can no longer work or carry out his activities normally. However, his greatest motivation to keep going are our two children, whom we believe with all our hearts that God brought into our lives when Cesar and I were teenagers because their father is destined to see them grow up. At this time, they are trying to understand what is happening, and we are doing everything possible to provide them with stability and peace amidst this difficult situation.

We are convinced that this will not be the end of our story, and in the coming weeks, if your help allows, we will start the corresponding studies (pre-transplant cross-match test) to determine if I am 100% compatible to be the donor, a crucial step in Cesar's recovery journey.

With humility, we request the support of our loved ones: friends, family, and even those who do not know us personally, to overcome this enormous test. We know that we are not alone in this battle and that, with God's help and the support of kind-hearted people like you, we will overcome this challenge.
