L’Associazione Culturale Pedagogica La Formica opera a Colle di Val d’Elsa da oltre vent’anni ed è una realtà educativa radicata nel territorio, impegnata nella crescita culturale e umana di bambini e ragazzi.

L’Associazione anima:

• l’Asilo “La Casa del Sole”

• la Libera Scuola Michelangelo, con i corsi di studio elementari e medi

• Il Percorso Educativo per il Liceo delle Arti e delle Scienze Applicate “Leonardo da Vinci”

Le nostre scuole fanno parte del network delle scuole a indirizzo Steiner-Waldorf e rappresentano un punto di riferimento non solo per le famiglie del territorio senese, ma anche per famiglie

provenienti da altri paesi. Attualmente accogliamo circa 160 bambini e ragazzi, dai 3 ai 18 anni.

Oggi l’Associazione La Formica sta attraversando un momento delicato: lo affrontiamo con responsabilità e fiducia, consapevoli del valore educativo, culturale e sociale di ciò che abbiamo costruito insieme in questi anni.

La gestione e la manutenzione degli spazi scolastici comportano costi significativi e richiedono un impegno economico costante, indispensabile per garantire la continuità delle attività educative e la cura degli ambienti in cui i nostri bambini crescono e imparano ogni giorno.

Per questo, accanto ad altre iniziative di autofinanziamento in cui mettiamo a disposizione le nostre competenze e il nostro lavoro, abbiamo attivato questa campagna di crowdfunding.

Il vostro contributo ci aiuterà a:

• garantire la continuità delle attività educative e associative

• realizzare interventi di manutenzione, piccoli e grandi, nella nostra scuola.

The Cultural-Pedagogical Association La Formica has been operating in Colle di Val d’Elsa for over twenty years and is an educational reality rooted in the local area, committed to the cultural and human growth of children and young people.

The Association runs:

• the “La Casa del Sole” Kindergarten

• the Libera Scuola Michelangelo, with elementary and middle school study programs

• the Educational Path for the “Leonardo da Vinci” High School of Arts and Applied Sciences

Our school are part of the network of Steiner-Waldorf schools and represent a point of reference not only for families from the Siena area, but also for families coming from other countries. We currently welcome about 160 children and young people, from ages 3 to 18.

Today the La Formica Association is going through a delicate moment: we are facing it with responsibility and confidence, aware of the educational, cultural, and social value of what we have built together over the years.

Managing and maintaining school spaces involves significant costs and requires constant financial commitment, which is essential to guarantee the continuity of educational activities and the care of the environments where our children grow and learn every day.

For this reason, alongside other self-funding initiatives in which we make our skills and work available, we have launched this crowdfunding campaign.

• carry out maintenance work, both small and large, in our school.
