(English version below)
I am raising funds for a unique project : the publication of my book, "Un carnet vert" ("The green notebook"), in Hebrew !

A book to ensure we never forget, and to build the future
It all began…
In November 2011, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, I met Marion, an Auschwitz survivor. She told me her story – the story of a family of Jewish artists, cousins of Albert Einstein, who were hunted down during the Holocaust, and of the man who risked his life to save them – my grandfather.
My life then turned into a gripping investigation lasting more than 15 years, taking me from Berlin to New York, via Auschwitz, Paris and Jerusalem.
A real puzzle, with twists and turns waiting for us on every page.
This quest has become a book, published by Editions Favre.
Now, the time has come to translate it into Hebrew.
Why Hebrew?
To make it accessible to those who need it most: Israeli citizens, whatever their background – Jewish, Arab, Ethiopian, European or Anglo-Saxon. It is a language that unites, and this story deserves to speak to everyone.
And why now?
Every year, the voices of those who lived through it fade away. Every year, attempts to rewrite history grow stronger.
This book is a peaceful weapon against oblivion and anti-Semitism. Translating it means providing a powerful tool for passing on this story to new generations, and to all those who wish to understand where hatred comes from so that they can better combat it.
In a world where voices are growing harsher, where communities sometimes view one another with suspicion, it is urgent that we remember what unites us.
More than just a historical account: this book is a lesson in courage, humanity and resistance in the face of hatred.
Your contribution!
By contributing, you’re not just helping to translate a book. You’re playing an active part in preserving memory. You’re enabling a teacher in Tel Aviv to talk about it with their class, a teenage girl in Jerusalem or Nazareth to discover this story, and a family in Haifa to come together around this narrative.
Help us bring this story to those who need to hear it.
“A Green Notebook” is a powerful antidote to forgetting and division. Support this project so that this message of courage and humanity resonates across all communities and cultures in Israel !
We will partner with Niv Books, one of the biggest publishers in Israel (publishing some 360 books a year, in print, ebook, and audiobook formats) and the name behind hundreds of bestsellers.
