Mis padres llevan 62 años de matrimonio.

Mami tiene 81 años y vive con demencia en una etapa avanzada. Está encamada y requiere cuido y atención las 24 horas del día.

Papi tiene 82 años y ha sido su compañero de vida, apoyo y amor incondicional.

Han sido excelentes padres y líderes comunitarios, personas que siempre sirvieron a otros con generosidad y valores.

Como hija, mi mayor deseo es cuidar a mami con dignidad, rodearla de personas buenas, pacientes y compasivas, y asegurarle la atención y el respeto que merece en esta etapa tan vulnerable de su vida.

Aunque como hijos hemos aportado con todo nuestro corazón —económica y emocionalmente— el cuido especializado 24/7 es muy costoso y se nos ha hecho difícil sostenerlo solos.

Con mucha humildad, levantamos esta campaña para cubrir gastos de cuido, cuidadoras responsables y bienestar diario, y así brindarle tranquilidad tanto a mami como a papi.

Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que sea, marca una gran diferencia.

An Act of Love for My Parents’ Dignity

My parents have been married for 62 years.

My mom is 81 years old and lives with advanced dementia. She is bedridden and requires 24/7 care and attention.

My dad is 82 years old, her lifelong partner and constant support.

They have been wonderful parents and community leaders, always serving others with generosity and strong values.

As their daughter, my greatest wish is to care for my mother with dignity, surrounding her with compassionate, patient caregivers and ensuring she receives the love and respect she deserves during this vulnerable stage of life.

Although we, as children, have given our love, time, and financial support, the cost of specialized 24/7 care is overwhelming and difficult to sustain on our own.

With humility and love, we are raising funds to cover caregiving expenses, trusted caregivers, and daily well-being needs, so my mother receives proper care and my father has peace of mind.

Any contribution, no matter how small, truly makes a difference.
