On the morning of Wednesday April 15th, Hunter Birch was in a terrible car accident. She was immediately rushed to the hospital and brought into surgery where she got her ruptured spleen removed, her crushed diaphragm repaired, and her injured lung repaired. She has swelling all over her body. A crack in her skull and bleeding in her brain. At least 4 fractures in her pelvis. And we’re sure more to come.
Since day one, Hunter has been a fighter. She was born 1/15/00 7 weeks premature and is the youngest of 4 girls. She is a daughter, a sister, a grandchild, a cousin, an aunt and a friend.
In all aspects of her life she is an extremely hard worker, she pushes herself in school, work, and friendships, to be her best self and make the people around her better.
Every day she is continuing to fight for her life. Her parents are splitting 12 hour shifts between the two of them to stay by her side and none of her other family can visit her due to COVID-19.
COVID-19 has brought many financial hardships to our economy and we understand that not everyone is in the position to lend a helping hand. But those who can we will be forever grateful. As they say everyday in The hospital is two days of rehabilitation and when we add up those medical costs from the beginning to end of Hunters healing journey the financial burden grows.
No donation is too small and every dollar will help. If you are unable to donate we ask that you please send positive energy and prayers to our sweet Hunter. We are in this fight together, we are Hunter Strong.
