Help get Taylor to KC for treatment!

As many of you know, Taylor has been quite ill lately. Because of circumstances beyond my control, I did not qualify for FMLA as an option to be away from work and care for Taylor while still receiving pay. A few weeks ago, I made the difficult decision to resign from my job, with the understanding that I qualified for unemployment and would be granted back pay for the time I have been out of work caring for Taylor. Unfortunately, today I learned I do not qualify for unemployment either. I’ve been juggling funds and applying for various part time and work from home positions to make ends meet, but I was counting on getting a lump sum unemployment check to cover our bills for last month and this month.
