Brave the Shave 17th August 2025

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity and every donation will help. The big day is after our Daughters wedding in August Sunday 17th at Worksop fire station by a firefighter in uniform.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. The everyday heroes of the UK fire and rescue community face traumatic life and death situations. The Fire Fighters Charity is here to support them whether injured, ill or in need of psychological support.

Or hair makes our profile and means so much to our appearance, yes I’m scared as i know i will look awful for months……. But this shave is worth every penny to me for the service this charity provides.

my husband has been in the fire service for 30 years and still serving we had to use the charity in February 2024 when we suddenly lost our late son in a RTC on his way to work on a Saturday morning. Our world ended, something we will never come to terms with. We reached out to Harcombe House run by the firefighters charity and received a great experience under the circumstances. I would just like to give a little something back now that I am strong enough to say thank you for the support we received. If every fire employee donates £1.00 I should hit my target of £5k and over.
