Hi friends, Val here writing on behalf of our sweet friend Steph and her pup Milo.

Unfortunately earlier this year Milo was diagnosed with two torn CCLs in his hind legs and since then his quality of life has been disappearing by the month. Poor guy went from daily walks, hikes, and swims to barely being able to walk a few blocks without having great discomfort for the rest of the day. He's living with chronic pain at the young age of two and his only option for relief is a costly surgery.

Steph's been doing everything short of the surgery to address and stall the progression of his symptoms, but the evidence of his decline is apparent these days. The time has come, it's now or never as the longer his condition deteriorates the smaller his chance of the surgery working becomes and the only alternative to the surgery is euthanasia. His doctors are confident this procedure will successfully return him to his former self, it's just the cost that's the obstacle at this point.

Why are dog surgeries so damn expensive?!

She's been able to squirrel away a decent amount as well as apply for aid from a few organizations but Milo's situation has become urgent and he needs the surgery sooner than she anticipated.

That's where we come in. We can speed this up for him by financially covering what she can't.

Please give what you can, EVERY SINGLE DONATION COUNTS as it pushes him that much closer to being pain free.

We can do this!! Steph's worked her ass off for years raising her two boys on her own. If she could swing this surgery on top of being the sole provider for her household, trust me she would. She would've found a way in typical Steph fashion and no one would be the wiser....

But instead, I'm here.

Because Milo deserves a shot at life and if the only thing standing in the way is money, I have no problem asking for that on their behalf. Steph really needs our help with this one, if ever there was a time you wished you could give her back something for bringing a little ray of silly joy into your life, this is the way.
