U-Meleni's International Rescue Fundraiser

Tax deductible

My name is U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo. I am  a Zimbabwean artist & educator  presently US based deeply connected to my country and fellow brothers and sisters who have been affected by Cyclone Idai. I spent half my life there , have family and friends ,the continent is deeply woven into the fabric of my being.

I know communities that have been personally affected in Zimbabwe,  including where my late  grandmother is from in Chipinge. My family there is safe . but according to OCHA over 1 million people have been displaced, lacking food and medicine and so many have lost their lives in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

I'm raising money to benefit International Rescue Committee,  and any donation will help make an impact. They are sending medical supplies, food and dignity kits to the affected people.

The greatest lesson I learned from my grandmother was that giving even what little you have can change someone's life. So be the blessing for someone in need today.

SIMUDZAI! !
