UMD Undocumented Student Fund

Hi, we are Latina Pathways! We are a student-led nonprofit organization at the University of Maryland that seeks to educate, advocate, and fundraise for Latina immigrants in the United States. We are fundraising to give a scholarship to two undocumented students at the University of Maryland. Undocumented students have difficulty paying for tuition as they do not qualify for federal financial aid (no FAFSA!) and are only eligible to receive a small amount from the state of Maryland. We need your help to further the education of at least two Terps. With the help of The Latin American Caribbean Studies Center and The Immigrant & Undocumented Student Life Office, we distributed $500 scholarships to two Undocterps last semester. We hope to award higher scholarship amounts this semester with your help. Any contribution is appreciated.
