With deep sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved brother Umair Waheed, a 27-year-old Pakistani from Spearwood, tragically passed away today around 2 PM near Margaret River in a drowning incident.

He had only arrived in Australia in February 2026, full of hopes and dreams for his future. He was my cousin, and this sudden loss has left our entire family devastated.

We humbly request everyone to remember him in your duas. May Allah (SWT) forgive him, grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous, and grant sabr-e-jameel to his family. Ameen.

️ URGENT APPEAL FOR SADAQAH – REPATRIATION TO PAKISTAN

We are currently arranging to repatriate his body to Pakistan (Islamabad) for his final rites and burial. The process will begin once official clearances are received, and we are trying to organise everything as urgently as possible.

His brother, Harris Waheed, who is also a student in Australia, is managing all arrangements and is facing financial difficulty in covering the funeral and repatriation expenses.

We kindly request the Pakistani community to support in any way possible—whether through guidance, connections, or financial assistance. Every contribution, no matter how small, will be a form of Sadaqah and a means of ease for the grieving family.
