Please Help Erik

Story

Hello, my name is Sarah and my husband Erik suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury on Monday 10/31/22. His neurosurgeon states he will never walk again. He is paralyzed from the sternum down. We need to completely modify our first floor to make it handicap accessible and pave our driveway, in addition to other modifications down the road. We have an old house that is not accessible for him at all. As a prerequisite for the best rehabs, we need to be able to say he can come home. My husband and I would normally NEVER ask for help, but we have to swallow our pride in this unfortunate situation. He is a Marine Corps veteran and we are reaching out to various organizations, as well. Because this is time sensitive, we must utilize all avenues. Thank you in advance. Much love, Erik and Sarah.
