We’re at risk of losing the only space that makes our work possible.
World Wellness Group is raising funds to secure our long-term home: a fit-for-purpose building designed to deliver truly accessible, culturally responsive healthcare to Brisbane’s diverse communities.
We're close to reaching the $4 million needed to purchase the building - but we need your help to close the final gap. We’re calling on our community to help reach our target by 30 June to complete the purchase.
Why this matters:
For over a decade, WWG has delivered health and wellbeing services to refugees, people seeking asylum and people from migrant backgrounds - communities that are often excluded from mainstream healthcare.
This building is more than a workplace, it’s our base to keep innovating and expanding inclusive healthcare. Without it, we risk being priced out of the commercial rent market and losing the only space that truly fits our work.
What happens if we don't secure this building?
If we are unable to purchase this building and it is sold to another party, we face the very real risk of being forced to relocate for a fifth time. This would result in:
- Significantly higher rental costs
- Inability to afford or replicate a medical-grade fit-out, which would compromise service delivery, efficiency and patient care.
- Operational instability and disruption, affecting both staff morale and patient continuity of care.
- Wastage of financial and human resources, including the irrecoverable costs of previous relocations and the time and effort required to transition yet again.
