Cochlears for Kylie

This  is Kylie.  She may be the happiest baby on the planet.  She is always smiling  and lights up a room wherever she goes.  She loves to be snuggled and her laugh will melt your heart.


A few days after she was born, we learned Kylie was deaf. At first, the doctors were not sure if it was permanent, but they were hopeful.   Her family has been on a long journey of doctors and specialists to realize what was happening.  Kylie has a rare diagnosis of Auditory Neuropathy.  Due to this, she is not developing at the rate she should be. Though you would never know that from the constant smile on her face.

A few days ago, he parents received the best news ever.  They found out that Kylie is a candidate for Cochlear Implants.  The Dr.'s believe this is what she needs to be successful in her development.  

Then came the devastating news. Cochlear implants are extremely expensive.  Without insurance, they can cost up to $120,000.00  Kylie is lucky enough to have parents with insurance, but even so, they are looking at a cost of over $6,000.00 to make this happen for her.  Please help make this family's dream come true of helping her to hear fully for the first time.
