We’re Taylor and Kennedy—two passionate individuals with a dream to create a welcoming and inspiring space for the arts. After years of experience and a shared love for theater, we’re thrilled to announce that we are starting our very own theater company! Our debut production is set for October, and we need your help to bring it to life.
As first-time producers, directors, and managers, this is an exciting but challenging venture. We’ve chosen to bring a musical to the stage, a thrilling yet expensive undertaking that involves many moving parts. There are rights to secure (which can be as high as $2,500), set dressing and props, costumes for an entire ensemble, makeup and hair needs, marketing costs, and educational materials.
Our goal is simple: we want to create a theater company where everyone involved—whether a performer, crew member, or volunteer—can participate without paying any sort of tuition or fees. We believe that art should be accessible to everyone, and we want to ensure that no talent is overlooked due to financial barriers.
With your help, we can cover the essential costs and ensure that this show is a success. Your contribution will allow us to:
Secure the rights to produce our show
Create a vibrant set and find the perfect props
Provide professional-quality costumes and makeup for our actors
Market the show to ensure a full audience
Offer educational materials and support for all our performers, ensuring they feel prepared and confident
This is just the beginning, and we have big plans for future productions! We hope to continue producing shows regularly, providing a space where local talent can grow, and where the community can come together to experience the magic of theater.
Any contribution—big or small—is greatly appreciated. Your support is what will help us turn this dream into a reality, and we can’t wait to share this journey with you. Below is our mission statement to give you a better sense of who we are and why we are so passionate about this endeavor:
We are committed to creating an inclusive, transparent, and empowering space for artists and audiences alike. As a woman-owned company, we prioritize ethical practices and up-to-date methodologies that ensure both professional growth and personal well-being. We believe in fostering an environment where all individuals – regardless of body type, race, ethnicity, gender, pronouns, age, or mobility – can thrive, express themselves, and be heard. Our mission is to provide equal opportunities for all performers and artists, offering constructive feedback that nurtures skill development in a safe, respectful, and supportive atmosphere. By collaborating with experienced mentors in the community, we aim to strengthen theatrical abilities. Our goal is to champion an adaptive, non-discriminatory environment that welcomes diverse voices and stories. With transparency at our core, we are dedicated to building meaningful connections with our community and audiences, ensuring everyone feels seen, valued, and included. Together we will create theater that reflects the richness of humanity, celebrates diversity, and empowers the next generation of storytellers.
