On behalf of my friend Jason Gordon ,I would like to tell you what an amazing young man he is , what his struggles have been over the last 3 years and what they continue to be as he prepares for end of life .
Jason in his early 20"s began this horrific journey , one that most could not imagine at such a young age .
After being diagnosed with Cancer it began with 5 months of intense cemo, 8 weeks of radiation followed by 2 major 14 hour surgeries ,6 days apart where he received 3 new vertebrae and removal of his Tumor .
cancer free for 8 months only to return with a vengeance . Once again followed by another 16 hour surgery in jan 2015..again followed by radiation.. Happily and emotionally drained .. Cancer free for 3 months. !!
It returned again end of April 2015 taking over his left lung and spinal cord .
Doctors have determined that he is now terminal and no further treatment will be available as now Jason is preparing for end of life .
last week during a visit all he said he wanted to do was drive a very expensive sports car( a rental place in Toronto) , spend a weekend in Niagara Falls and play a round of blackjack , and maybe a holiday with his wonderful and supportive fiancée Serina and the kids .
