The Loney Legacy Fund
Donation protected
Bob's friends and colleagues at Windemere Ranch Middle School are establishing a Go Fund Me account we lovingly call, “The Loney Legacy Fund”. This legacy fund will be established in honor of Bob Loney and in the support of his legacy, his three girls. The funds will be used to support their college education. Bob’s girls were his greatest pride and joy, and there is no better way to remember Bob than to support his girls as they continue on with higher education. We appreciate any and all contributions, big or small. Thank you for your consideration. The funds will go directly to Silvia to oversee. The following was written by Silvia, Bob’s wife:
Robert Loney was a teacher for 26 years in Union City, Fremont, and San Ramon. Robert started teaching at Windemere Ranch Middle School in 2006 as a Core teacher. For the last 14 years, Windemere Ranch was his second home.
Robert leaves behind his wife Silvia, and three daughters Marisol, Alicia, and Lili. Marisol will be graduating from CSU Chico next year and then will be pursuing her teaching credential in Special Education. Alicia graduated from California High School this June and then will be attending UC Davis in the Fall, pursuing a degree in Political Science along with a teaching credential. Lili is currently a sophomore at California High School. She is not sure about her future career, but hopes to attend college somewhere in Southern California, possibly studying Broadcast Journalism.
