Preventative Chemo for Slopey
My cat “Slopey” had a lump removed from her mammary gland. The initial test came back negative but the second testing found cancerous cells in one of the smaller nodules.
My initial goal for this post was just $2,000 to help cover the removal of the lump, the biopsy, x-ray, blood work, and the ultrasound. I didn’t initially intend to have her treated with chemo therapy ... But here’s the situation…
The doctor said her x-ray, blood work and ultrasound have all come back looking good. There is no sign of cancer having spread anywhere else. He strongly feels that five mild chemo treatments is the best plan of action to prevent the cancer from coming back. Each treatment costs $700.
So here’s the next goal...
I am seeking 35 people who are willing to be added to “Slopey’s Hero’s” list. If each person donates $10 each month for the next five months, I can match the other half of the cost each month.
Hopefully together we will be able to complete these treatments.
The doctor said once these rounds of chemo are completed, Slopey will not need anything else except for follow ups to make sure The cancer has not returned.
I am grateful to all of you who are willing to help us through this process. Your donations and kindness is appreciated beyond words! ❤️
