100km Ultramarathon for Brain Tumor Research
Tax deductible
Hi, my name is Vijay Jagarapu, and I am a student at Cornell University. On May 24, I will be running a 100-kilometer ultramarathon--the Bubbledown What the Duck Ultra--to raise money for the National Brain Tumor Society.
Brain cancer and brain tumors are among the most devastating medical conditions for patients and families, affecting vital functions of the brain like memory, speech, and movement. According to the National Cancer Institute, in 2022, over 187,000 Americans were living with brain or nervous system cancer, with a 5-year relative survival rate of 33%. Despite this, brain cancer research is largely underfunded compared to other major cancers.
With your help, every mile can raise money to support research breakthroughs, drive innovation, and bring hope and solutions to the patients and families affected by this disease.
