Ultra Trail Snowdonia 100 Mile
Donation protected
My name is Jon,
On Friday 16th May I will be taking on the Ultra Trail Snowdonia 100 Mile race. It’s 100 Miles across the Eryri mountains, with 32,000 feet of climbing…. (That’s the cruising altitude of a commercial airline). The route promises to provide the most challenging race I’ve ever done.
Growing up, I was incredibly lucky—my parents gave me the opportunity to play multiple sports. Each sport taught me something different: teamwork, discipline, resilience, and how to bounce back from failure. These experiences helped shape who I am today, working as a PE teacher in North Wales, I know not every child gets that same chance.
Previously when I have fundraised, I have done it for a cancer charity after losing my Dad in 2007. But instead, this year, I would like to raise money, to contribute towards giving people the chances he and my mum gave to me.
I’m raising money for Nantclwyd Cricket Club and Clocswyr Conwy. These clubs open doors for young people, giving them a safe, supportive space to grow, stay active, and learn life skills that go far beyond the field, court or stage. Your support can help provide equipment, and opportunities for young people to thrive.
Any donation will help contribute to shaping futures and communities.
