ULTRA MARATHON FOR SCOLIOSIS

Donation protected

Hello everyone :)

My name is Eva. I am a personal trainer & athlete with severe scoliosis.

I am running my second ultra marathon on September 4th 2020- the Kerry Way Ultra Night with my mate Emma.

I would like to use the opportunity to raise money for one of my favourite Scoliosis charities: Scoliosis Association UK (SAUK)

SAUK do amazing work with supporting people with scoliosis and their families and funding research into finding the causes of scoliosis and treatments to improve the quality of life for patients.

Scoliosis can be a very physically and emotionally debilitating condition.
I feel very fortunate having the ability to run long distances despite having a curved spine.

If you are in a position to donate, we would greatly appreciate your contribution.

Have a great day my friends

More about the Kerry Way Ultra Night:

It is a night race covering 93km distance, starting in Waterville and ending in Killarney. I estimate it will take us somewhere between 16-18 hours to complete.

What is SAUK?

SAUK provide advice, support, and information to people affected by scoliosis and their families and raise awareness of scoliosis among health professionals and the general public.

They do this so that we can be there for people with scoliosis and those close to them, help to reduce feelings of isolation, poor body image, inadequate care, needless pain, worry, fear and lack of information.
