On September 5th 2026, I’ll be taking on the 60km Kerry Way Ultra Lite — a challenge that will push me physically and mentally across some of the toughest and most beautiful terrain in Ireland.
I’ve decided to run this race to raise money for Down Syndrome Ireland, a charity that means a lot to me and my family. My cousin has Down syndrome, and seeing the joy, strength, and positivity she brings to our lives is a constant reminder of how important support, advocacy, and community are for people with Down syndrome and their families.
Down Syndrome Ireland does incredible work — providing vital services, education, and support to individuals with Down syndrome across the country, while also helping to build a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Running 60km will be a huge challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges many families face. If this run can help raise awareness and support the amazing work being done by Down Syndrome Ireland, every step will be worth it.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean a lot. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you so much for the support — it will carry me through every kilometre.
