Ultra Ergathlon against cancer

We are Yana, Lennert, Lode, Bert, Robin, and Tom. We are taking on an incredibly tough challenge - the Ultra Ergathlon - to make a real difference in the fight against cancer.

The Ultra Ergathlon is no ordinary feat. It’s 24 hours of relentless effort, during which we will each push ourselves to complete 50 km of skiing, 100 km of rowing, and 200 km of cycling on Concept 2 machines. This event will take place at Omnimove Geel (Snelwegstraat 7 - 2260 Westerlo) on Saturday, 14 December 2024, starting at 15:00 and lasting until Sunday, 15 December 2024, around 15:00.

But this isn’t just about physical endurance. It’s about something much bigger - about coming together to support Fighters Against Cancer, an organization that is dedicated to helping those affected by cancer. Every year, Fighters Against Cancer raises money to provide direct support to cancer patients and fund vital initiatives in the fight against this devastating disease.

In 2022, Fighters Against Cancer helped fund the construction of a pet pavilion at Sint-Trudo Hospital in Sint-Truiden, so that people battling long-term illness could safely meet their beloved pets. These are the kinds of real, tangible impacts we want to support through our Ultra Ergathlon.

We’re doing this because we want to make a difference. We’re doing this because cancer affects all of us - whether it’s a loved one, a friend, or even ourselves. And we are asking for your support in this fight. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Fighters Against Cancer continue their essential work - bringing hope, comfort, and aid to those who need it most.
