Surprise Bday Party & Trip to Israel for Lisa!

Lisa is celebrating her 62 birthday! We are inviting you to join fellow neighbors and friends to celebrate the gift of our amazing friend and community champion.

Lisa is a mom, wife, confidante, and leader. She has faithfully served in the Piety Hill neighborhood and Detroit Community for nearly 30 years, co-founding Central Detroit Christian Center in 1993. Over the many years, Lisa has helped multiple generations of her neighbors obtain safe and affordable housing, employment, childcare, food, launch new businesses and so much more. Central Detroit Christian Center, or more affectionately known as “CDC” by community members has been a faithful and reliable source of joy and respite.

Lisa is a humble servant of few words and little fanfare. Even though she'd never ask, we want to surprise her with a birthday and anniversary trip to Israel! Lisa is a devout christian and we know this is a desire of her heart. A little birdie heard her say, she’ll probably never get to go-- so we want to surprise her and hubby Dan with the gift of a lifetime because she has faithfully served for a lifetime.
