Ayuda la familia - Help The Family of Ulises Estrada Sánchez

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el repentino e inesperado fallecimiento de nuestro querido Ulises Estrada Sánchez en nuestra comunidad del SFUSD. Ulises cursaba octavo grado en la Escuela Intermedia Everett, y su hermano menor, Emir, actualmente asiste en la Escuela Primaria Marshall.

Ulises fue un estudiante muy querido que trajo tanto amor y luz a sus amigos y seres queridos en nuestra comunidad. Todos quienes lo conocieron lo extrañarán profundamente.

Ulises llegó a SFUSD como recién llegado en enero de 2023 con su madre y su hermano. Como madre soltera, la madre superó la falta de vivienda con los recursos de nuestro Programa de Estancia del SFUSD en Buena Vista Horace Mann para conseguir una vivienda.

Mientras asimilan el fallecimiento de Ulises, ella ahora se enfrenta a la costosa tarea de organizar su celebración. Queremos brindarle a la familia y a Ulises el honor digno y sincero que merece, pero la carga financiera de los gastos funerarios es abrumadora para la familia durante este momento ya de por sí difícil.

Nos comunicamos con nuestra comunidad para solicitar apoyo económico para la familia. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, aliviará el estrés y les permitirá concentrarse en el duelo y recordar a Ulises.

Los fondos recaudados se destinarán a un funeral, gastos de entierro o cremación, transporte, arreglos conmemorativos, ausencias laborales y gastos de vivienda, etc. Su generosidad marcará una diferencia significativa para asegurar que Ulises tenga un entierro digno y en paz.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Ulises Estrada Sanchez in our SFUSD community. Ulises was an 8th grader at Everett Middle School, and his younger brother Emir currently attends Marshall Elementary.

Ulises was a cherished student who brought so much love and light to his friends and loved ones in our community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ulises arrived to SFUSD as a newcomer in January 2023 with his mother and brother. As a single parent, the mother overcame homelessness with the resources of our SFUSD Stayover Program at Buena Vista Horace Mann to secure housing.

As they come to terms with Ulises’ passing, she is now faced with the costly task of arranging his celebration of life. We want to give the family and Ulises the dignified and heartfelt honor he deserves, but the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for the family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support for the family’s financial needs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will alleviate some stress and allow them to focus on grieving and remembering Ulises.

Funds raised will go towards a funeral service, burial or cremation costs, transportation, memorial arrangements, missed work and resulting home expenses, etc. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Ulises is laid to rest with dignity and peace.

We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness solidifies our community to surround Ulises’ family with care as they navigate through their grief.
