My best friend Pumpkin has been a part of my life for 16 years. I have spent thousands of dollars keeping him healthy. He’s been on thyroid meds for a few years now, but he’s having other complications. It started with diarrhea, vomiting, and now has come to loss of appetite and dehydration. I’ve done all the bloodwork and everything is normal. My next step is ultrasounds, x-rays, etc. I just spent $1,000 two days ago and he’s still not getting better, so I really need to go to my next step. I’ve maxed out my care credit card to figure out the problem. I’ve borrowed from family. I want to do everything possible to find out what’s going on with him and try to get him better again. He’s such a huge part of my daily life and my son’s. I can’t imagine losing a family member due to lack of funds, so I’m trying everything within my power. I would do anything for my animals.
