Help Bring Mobility and Independence to Ukrainian Veterans!
We're Kelsea and Patrick, co-founders of Ability Through Action, a passion-driven initiative that took root in 2022 at Toronto Metropolitan University under the Social Venture Zone.
For the past two summers, we've dedicated ourselves to volunteering in Ukraine, creating meaningful connections with the local community. Partnering with organizations like Goodwill and Align Home Health Care, we've successfully sent over 1000 mobility devices to Ukraine.
Now, we're embarking on our most ambitious project yet – supplying active wheelchairs to Ukrainian veterans and supporting rehabilitation hospitals in Lviv. These heroes have sacrificed so much for their country, and we believe they deserve the freedom and mobility to lead fulfilling lives post-service.
Your contribution can make a significant impact. By supporting our GoFundMe campaign, you're helping us provide active wheelchairs to veterans and civilians. Additionally, your generosity will contribute to enhancing rehabilitation facilities in Lviv, which are running low on funds due to the ongoing war.
Here's how you can help:
Donate: Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal.
Share: Spread the word on social media, in your community, and among friends and family.
Connect: If you have contacts in the mobility industry or relevant organizations, help us make even more connections.
Thank you for being a crucial part of our journey.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kelsea and Patrick
