Hi, my name is Regina. I'm a lawyer in San Francisco, working free of charge with the Ukrainian refugees concerns. My family is from Kiev, and I have no doubt that things would only have had to be a bit different for me to have been a refugee right now.
We started by working with just one displaced family. Very quickly, that became 20+ families, all starting their lives over through great difficulty. Every day is a new story - many are heartbreaking tales of survival through the greatest of odds in active war zones like Mariupol. Of course, thereafter is a great need to establish a new life, and the challenges therein. Stories of human trafficking in the US, sexual assault in volunteer homes in Europe, and just not having enough food to eat have become a daily occurrence. We remain committed to laying down foundations for a fresh start for the families we are working with at the level that is needed.

Thank you for reading and taking a look. If you want to impact a refugee family directly, this is a great opportunity.
Anything helps in this quest, and will go directly to housing/food support efforts.
