The people of Ukraine are fleeing in their thousands to the neighbouring countries to escape the invasion of their homeland.
My friend Ciaran Murphy and his wife Kasia Murphy, own and run a small language school in Warsaw and are providing free Polish language courses to the people who have been forced to go to Poland from the Ukraine, to help them get a start on their uncertain futures.
They are also providing care, along with food and snacks, for the children of these people while their parents take the course and helping them in any way they can to adapt to their lives there.
Ciaran and Kasia have also taken a family into their own home, and are trying to help with the passage of others to Ireland.
They are paying for this out of their own pockets, and I am trying to raise some money to help them.
I know many people are looking for a way to help the Ukrainians, and this is a great way to do that directly.
