Ukrainian Fellow Sergii Shcherbak (2003)
Donation protected
Sergii Shcherbak was a Fellow in 2003. He is currently still in his home village, north of Kiev, between the Dnieper and Desná rivers, a very dangerous area, because of its proximity to the front line. He has had to participate in his community defense, especially in surveillance work.
Sergii's wife, Yuliia managed to escape Ukraine in March with her two children and now safe in a small town in the German region of Bavaria. A group of European Chapter Fellows helped them during their departure from Ukraine, and during their transit and a temporary stop in Budapest
As you can imagine, Yuliia and her children have come out just with their clothes on, so they are in a very delicate position and need help.
