Donate to help Ukrainian family cover expenses

We are fundraising for a Ukrainian family of three who recently came to the US as refugees — a mother, Ira, and her two daughters, Vlada, 20, and Uliana, 13. They are from Kharkiv, in Eastern Ukraine, and they do not know when they will be able to return, or what will remain of their city and country when they do.

They are currently staying with my sister's family in Newton, MA.

All funds raised will be used to cover tuition for courses Vlada is taking at Mass Bay Community College and pay for the family’s food and other living expenses, including rent once they are established and able to find a place of their own. Vlada and Ira are waiting for authorization to work in the US, and in the meantime, it is very hard for them to make ends meet.
