This is our dear friend Olena and her two sons Slava and Daniil. They fled from Kyiv, Ukraine when the war started. They arrived in Osijek, Croatia in March one year ago. They have been unable to find jobs with the struggling economy in Croatia. With no end to the war Olena has been praying about the next step to take for the future of her family. She believes that going to the U.S.A. with the Uniting for Ukraine program is the answer she has prayed for. Our family is Assembly of God Missionaries from California serving in Osijek Croatia. We meet Olena and her boys in the summer while a college age missionary team joined us from Maryland for a few weeks. The team meet this amazing family and invited them to our outreach. They had been looking for a church family. We were connected and have become close friends. When America was their hope for a new future, we mentioned this direction to some close friends of ours living in Tennessee. They called us back a few weeks later and said they felt like they needed to sponsor them through the Uniting for Ukraine program the US government has set up. As they all meet over facetime calls it became apparent it was God’s plan to make this happen. So, after much paperwork and waiting IT HAS HAPPENED!! They have been approved to fly to Tennessee! But we need your help in raising the funds for PLANE TICKEITS to get them there. Any donation is greatly appreciated and any extra money raised will go directly to Olena and the boys for their future start up in America.
