Ukraine war refugee families coming to Florida

Imagine having a good job, nice home, and family and suddenly having to flee with only some files, laptop, and the clothes on your back to stay alive and protect your family.

I am a sponsor of several families who have escaped the war in Ukraine and they are headed here to Florida for asylum. These people are just like you and I, but suddenly... literally overnight, they lost everthing from the bombings. Most are Christian, university educated, skilled and ready to work.

They are afraid because of a change of culture, customs and language but they learn quickly, especially the children.

God has put these families on my heart to help in some way. I just can't imagine what they have been through. There are thousands of these families but, of course, we can only help a few.

Right now, I have a family here living in my 27' camper. They have a 4-year old boy and are so appreciative of anything. They have both gotten jobs and are starting over a new life. Right now, Homeland Security will only allow them to stay for 2 years, which I think is unfair in light of our Southern border.

I am trying to raise this money to buy a couple of used campers as my first family says my camper is better than the group housing conditions where they were staying before coming to the U.S.

Please consider helping these people and also pray for them in your homes and in your church groups. The media is barely covering the plight of these families or the conditions they are living in.
