Hello all,

My name is Joel. My mother-in-law lives in Ukraine. One day from now, someone is helping her go to the Polish border to flee the war in her country. Her husband died of cancer a few years back, so she is alone in life). She is not a resourceful person, so she will need help once she gets into Poland as a refugee. I am flying to Poland tomorrow (Sunday) and will wait near the border to hear from her/others on their progress. It just occurred to me (watching the news) that while I wait, there will be thousands of people coming through those gates that have traveled for days at the very last minute. Some with families, some elderly etc. While I wait, the least I could do is hand out food and water. I am rating funds to help with the costs of providing such help. I will be spending my own money but will monitor this fund to know how much more I can spend beyond the money I am taking with me. Ideally, please donate in the next 3 days as I will be in the larger city of Lublin to buy supplies at that time. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I know (some) people do Gofunds to scam. All I can say is this is not that. I am a healthcare chaplain here in the US and just want to do some good while I’m there. Thanks for any help you feel impressed to provide. If I get enough, I will rent a larger car and take more goods. I’ve not done a GoFund before, so… if I can supply updates here… I will… with photos too. Blessings -
