Hi, I'm fundraising for one of our employees who recently immigrated to Canada from Ukraine and holds a work visa. This is his appeal.

My name is Anatolii Kumpan, and I have been part of the Linden Pizza team for two months. My mother, Kateryna Lisakova, like almost my entire family, currently lives in Ukraine under constant pressure from the war and stress. Against this background, my mother suffered a heart attack a little over a week ago. She now requires urgent medical intervention.

In Ukraine, there is no insurance-based healthcare, and everything must be paid out of pocket. I have already sent all the funds I could, and even more loaned to me, but it is still not enough.

That is why I am asking for help with this fundraising. I hope for your understanding.

Fundraiser's additional note: Kateryna requires heart bypass surgery, the cost of which has been verified as ~$15,000 Canadian dollars. Anatolii works several jobs including full-time with us to be able to send money home and support his family. We can confirm he's hardworking and a natural leader.
