FISpT Italia – the Italian Sport for All Federation – is launching a humanitarian and development initiative in Ukraine aimed at rebuilding communities through the power of sport.
In response to the ongoing crisis, millions of people in Ukraine have been displaced, facing isolation, trauma, and limited access to structured social activities. Sport can play a vital role in restoring a sense of normality, inclusion, and well-being—especially for children, youth, and vulnerable groups.
This project focuses on three key pillars:
1. Social Inclusion through Sport We will organize accessible sport and physical activity programs designed to bring communities together, promote mental and physical health, and foster inclusion regardless of age, gender, or background.
2. Capacity Building We will train local coaches, volunteers, and community leaders to deliver sustainable sport-for-all activities. By empowering local actors, we ensure long-term impact and resilience within communities.
3. Support for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Special attention will be given to internally displaced individuals and families, offering them safe spaces to engage in sport, reconnect socially, and rebuild confidence. Funds raised will be used to provide equipment, organize activities, train personnel, and support local coordination in affected areas. Through this initiative, FISpT aims to contribute to recovery, unity, and hope—using sport as a universal language that brings people together even in the most difficult times.
Together, we can help rebuild lives through sport.
