UKO Boutique Recovery from Break-In

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, our store UKO has been lucky enough to be part of the Bay Area community for the past 34 years. Unfortunately, we have just experienced our second break-in and robbery at 5am on 5/25. They stole a lot of merchandise as well as our business computer. Due to the construction of our door, we are unable to open the store while waiting for the replacement door to be custom-made.

This is the second break-in we've been subject to in 6 months, and in combination with the pandemic and lockdowns, it continues to be harder and harder to survive in San Francisco.

Thank you all for the kindness, love and support you have shown us over the years and throughout the pandemic.  While insurance may cover some loss, the forced closure while we wait for repair and replacement, the high deductible and ongoing impact of COVID-19 we have created this GoFundMe to aid in our recovery.  Contributions of any amount are humbly and gratefully appreciated.
