Hello everyone, I am Kelsey Lucio writing on behalf of my husband, Jacob Lucio. On Saturday, June 10th, Jacob went out for a typical work day, when he instead pulled into an empty apiary, or bee lot. Thieves had wiped out Jacobs entire bee business that he has worked so hard for. Approximately $80,000 worth of equipment and hives were stolen, leaving him with a damaged pallet.
It was very difficult to get Jacob to agree to this funding, as he does not want to accept handouts from anyone. Although this is how he feels, this business he began building three years ago has helped support the family he has created and we are at a loss of what to do. Anything to help rebuild his business is greatly appreciated.
