Hello Everybody

So Thursday, July 6th I was walking my dog and he took off after another dog. I had him on a leash with a lot of slack in the leash and he pulled so hard and fast on the leash it broke my finger and hand in a significant way. After seeing an Orthopedic Doctor I have learned I will need surgery to fix the bones in my hand and finger without the surgery my finger will not heal properly leaving me with a hand that will not work right. I share this because I considered not having the surgery because of the cost.

I was really reluctant to do a Go Fund Me Fundraiser but my health insurance has a very high deductible that has to be met before my insurance will cover any of the expenses for the surgery.

So being the guy that I am I spent time today praying about whether or not to do a Go Fund Me Fundraiser. My reluctance in doing the fundraiser is my pride in asking for help, but as I talked it through with my wife Amy and prayed about it we came to a place of feeling okay to just put my need out to everyone and see what happens.

Any money raised will go towards the surgery and any of the costs I incur before my insurance deductible is met and the insurance begins to payout. Thanks for taking the time to consider helping me with this need.
