'The Good, The Bad and The Something Else' is a short comic western, set in 2008, we follow two middle-aged cowboys (Billy and Red), through a turning point in their lives. In the midst of an evening of drunken antics, an unexpected realisation dawns upon them that changes the course of their lives forever …

Hey I’m Albie Menter, the producer behind ‘The Good, The Bad, The Something Else’. Inspired by the idea of a western set in the UK, the creativity and uniqueness behind the Director Jago’s idea, attracted me to the project. Having previously worked with the Cinematographer, Liam Fletcher, we have a great sense of the visual elements and with your donations we can secure the vital equipment, locations and talent to bring this idea to life and allow it to reach its full potential and shine. We are going for a short film with visuals, sound design and a story that will shine and allow us to showcase our talent as filmmakers. Any and all donations are appreciated massively in order to help us reach our goal.

Hello! I’m Fletch, the Director of Photography. I’m in charge of bringing Jago’s amazing ideas and words to life. First on board, Jago introduced this story at the beginning of our second academic year at ‘Falmouth University’ and I’ve worked closely with him ever since.

I was impressed by his vision from the get-go, smiling at each script draft, wondering how he might improve it further, yet he’d still manage to blow my mind with his creativity. While talent plays a role, it’s Jago’s perseverance to perfect every detail that astonishes me and it really reflects on the world and characters he’s created. Our goal is to transport viewers into this realm fashioned by our collective imagination. Your generous donations will propel us to elevate this passion project to industry standards, allowing us to craft a masterpiece that will serve as a reference for future endeavours.

Hey! I’m Jago, I am currently studying at Falmouth university and am the Writer/Director of “The Good, the Bad and the Something Else”. I’m hoping to shoot this film early next year, having assembled a really passionate crew who understand the film's vision creatively, with an original music score by singer/songwriter Sid McLeod and visuals by the talented Fletch. It’s super exciting to think this could be our debut film, and with your help this dream could become possible! Where are your donations going? Primarily we want to see the budget on screen so you can see the best film possible, this means great locations down in Cornwall that create the narrative, hiring and building quality props and being able to design beautiful costumes. We strongly believe in paying our talent properly to bring out their best performance and supporting them in their industry.

We are striving to be as resourceful as possible by having a plastic free and eco-friendly set that will be offsetting our carbon footprint. This is a passion project, we will not be making any profit from the film, all of the crew are coming together for their belief in the project.
