Dear friends of the Newmans -

As some of you may know, Jared has been bravely fighting stage 4 colon cancer for two years. He has had a particularly difficult month with a two-week stay at Huntsman Cancer Institute in intensive care. He is home now, and we're grateful it looks like he will get to spend Christmas at home with his family.

Due to the unexpected challenges of this month, neither Emily or Jared were able to work. We know they would much rather give help than receive it, but as their family we know any financial help would be much appreciated. Funds will be used to support them getting to enjoy a Christmas together and relieve some of the ongoing financial burdens that come with cancer.

We know many of you love the Newman family and appreciate you wanting to send them your love and support at this difficult time. Many of you may know Emily as "Miss Emily" from preschool, and she'd want you to know how much she misses being in her happy place of preschool! We're sure she'd give you a big hug if she could.
