McCallum Medical Fund

Dear Community,
As many of you know, Ian McCallum was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. With this, the McCallum family is in the early stages of refactoring their routines to prepare their family for months of intense medical treatments.
Their finances will be deeply affected by the cost of cancer. Thankfully, Ian has medical insurance. However, Erin just began her career as a teacher and until this year they've been a single income family with three young children. They have little monetary reserves for travel to Seattle doctors, medications, child care, and medical bills after insurance. The goal of this community fundraiser is to lift the financial burden that comes with a lengthly medical battle so they can focus on supporting each other during this unexpected bump in the road.
Ian's steady nature, witty humor and kind heart have endeared him to his family, friends, BIFC parents and soccer players island-wide and beyond. The McCallum's collective humor, courage and "can-do" approach to life brings comfort to those who know and love them, but they can't do this without a boost from us.
Please consider donating to help the McCallum's focus on healing and providing stability for Finn, Brody and Shay during Ian's treatments. Any amount is helpful, and all funds will go directly to the McCallum family.
The McCallum family is unsure how costly this treatment will be so the campaign goal is set to an arbitray amount.
Visit Ian's Caring Bridge site for information on medical updates and other ways to help:
