Mark Leasor Gone to Soon

Donation protected
In March of 2022, one of our favorite people and dear friend, Mark Leasor, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This is the third time he has been treated for cancer, and similar to 2003 and 2019 the treatment will include chemotherapy and major surgery. During treatment, which started in April 2022, Mark is unable to work, and his wife Michele will be taking time off of work to care for him and their children. To relieve the financial burden they now face, we ask people to donate towards their living and medical expenses.

Mark and his wife Michele have blessed us with their friendship for the last 14 years. Mark’s life consistently reflects joy and an attitude of thankfulness as he interacts with people in his environment. Mark’s caring and loving personality extend far beyond himself. He has spent much of his adult life offering his time as a mentor, foster parent, uncle, and honorary uncle to just about everyone's kids, including our own.

Mark battled cancer in his early 20s, with the treatment impacting the likelihood of him being able to have children of his own. We celebrated with Mark and Michele when they unexpectedly found themselves pregnant after 11 years of marriage! Their son, Waylon, was born in 2017, and their daughter, Daphne, followed shortly after. Unfortunately, life took another unforeseen turn after being able to miraculously have two children when Mark was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. Mark lost part of his leg during this battle but was cancer-free once again!

The Leasor's have spent the last few years raising young children and adjusting to their new normal. Yet, Mark has never lost his vigor for life and his genuine love for those around him. Mark's ability to find joy on life's journey is contagious to everyone blessed enough to bump into him.

Please join us in supporting the Leasor family during Mark's battle by giving financially and sharing this Go Fund Me with others.
