20 years ago I broke my Knee & was misdiagnosed @ an ER by a MD that stated it was a sprain & to ice it! After years of pain, no proper medical treatment or insurance, re-injury from use & having to do my own physical therapy & more & more pain. 

I had arthroscopic knee surgery to remove a loose bone fragment from the inside of the knee cap that was grinding away & chipping at the interior of the knee. Locking up my leg & restricting movement. They cut out the loose bone and cut off torn meniscus flaps!

The surgery did not work and made my knee worse.
My leg muscles went into extreme atrophy and my rheumatoid arthritis (bone spurs) got worse & worse.
Since then it has become even more difficult to do construction & the pain has become constant & unbearable.  Before surgery I could still run on it!

The bone spurring is the reason my knee looks like a box. Cortisone injections don't help & I am wits end on what to do. My only option seems to be major knee surgery. 

Until recently no one except a select few knew my knee was so bad for so long. I am not one to complain or ask for a handout. Afraid at this point it is too scary to do this alone.

I am not asking for much. To be able to stretch & walk & work & maybe even play again~ Running again would be my ultimate dream. But I would be happy not to be in constant pain. It is very depressing & debilitating!

With what money & government help I can get I may be able to get surgery but the recovery time & loss of function to work and earn money haunts me. 

I would prefer to be able to hire the best surgeon possible opposed to the ones I have had before.
So I am asking my family & friends & anyone out there who cares & can spare a little to throw me a bone~

This is how my Knee looked two years ago after the botched Arthroscopic knee surgery @ SF General which made it worse rather than better. Hope to find a better surgeon this time so I can live with out limitation!





You can see how much different it is now.
The bone spurring has gone crazy...
cause they cut too much out and left me bone on bone.

Now instead of being able to sit in a lotus position
or run... I need a new knee.
I thought they would heal me but they hurt me.
I thought they would make me better but I was wrong!
