Sami got sick over a week ago with what they thought was hand, foot and mouth disease. After a week or so of running temps, vomiting, rash, headaches and weakness it took a turn for the worst and she had to be taken to the ER on Tuesday. After many tests she was then taken to Children's hospital in Omaha. They now think she may have Rocky Mountain spotted fever. She has had many ups and downs since she has been there. She is so weak she is hardly able to walk right now. They had oxygen on her because of a some fluid in her lung. They were able this morning to take the oxygen off for now. The doctors are saying she could be in the hospital for 10+ days if needed. Sarah and Jason are going through so much and I hope that we can help them out with any medical expenses they will incur.
