My Brother Shannon Dykes Needs You're Help

My brother Shannon was admitted into Parkwest Hospital here in Knoxville TN, after experiencing severe abdominal pain. As you know Shannon is pretty tough and not one to complain, but he was in so much pain he was laying on the emergency room floor. The doctors checked him out and discovered that he had a total blockage in his intestines. They say it could have happened due to numerous things, but Shannon was hospitalized last year for diverticulitius and the blockage may be related to that. Shannon was scheduled for surgery on Thursday, 6/23/22. The doctor explained that this was a serious major surgery where he would be cut open, part of his intestine would be removed, and he would have a colostomy bag attached while he recovers. He will be down for a while. There is also a concern for complications like internal drainage and infection. Nevertheless, this surgery had to be  done because doing nothing would be fatal. It was learner by the doctors during surgery that the intestines had perforated. The surgery saved his life. Now a big problem is that Shannon has exhausted all of his paid time off due to being sick from this going back to last year when he was hospitalized. He is concerned about paying his rent, utilities, and phone bill. Times are hard and Shannon basically lives paycheck to paycheck like many Americans. He is responsible with his finances but to be honest pay here is low and with the rising costs of inflation and gas this is devastating to him. Luckily he has a kind neighbor who is watching his dog Kane while he is hospitalized. Shannon will be in the hospital at least a week after his surgery and he does not know when he will be able to return to work full time. If I know Shannon he will end up going back before he is ready. There are no expectations, but if you can make any donation to this Go Fund Me cause for my brother Shannon it will be greatly appreciated by him. He didn't ask for me to do this. Any amount of donation is going to be helpful so if you can give $5 or $500 every penny will go to paying for Shannon's rent, utilities, and phone bill.
