Hector Castillo is a fellow LE brother, he started his CDCR career at SVSP as a Correctional Officer. He promoted to DAPO in San Jose as a Parole Agent and transferred back home to Salinas. Hector was recently at Natividad hospital for about 2 weeks with a bad case of pneumonia and under heavy antibiotics. He was diagnosed with Valley Fever and will be taking medication for 6 months. While he was in the hospital, his mother was also admitted to Natividad with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Regretfully, she passed away on Sunday January 14th, 2024. Hector is still recovering from his illness and while grieving his mothers loss he has been making funeral arrangements. With cheerfulness Hector has always been there to support family and friends.
